Vasarely is a truly unique visual artist in the history of 20th-century art. Achieving fame during his lifetime, he distinguished himself in contemporary art by creating a new trend: optical art.

Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of optical art at the heart of the luminokinetic building imagined, designed and financed by Victor Vasarely.
On the ground floor of the Foundation, sixteen hexagonal modules, nested within a gigantic construction set, present 42 monumental architectural integrations and 2 sculptures. Made of anodized metal, tapestry, ceramics, enamels and screen-printed glass, these works are the result of a fruitful collaboration between the visual artist, the architects and the companies, with the aim of creating the polychrome city of happiness.

Upstairs, a space called "Vasarely Plasticien" offers a tour and cultural mediations allowing visitors to discover or rediscover the Master's artistic universe, from his beginnings as a graphic designer to the creation of his monumental integrations, representing nearly 200 original creations and documents.

Temporary exhibitions, workshops, concerts, conferences, and cultural mediation activities with workshops for young audiences, families, and adults punctuate the Foundation's programming throughout the year.
The cultural mediation service also offers to organize your children's birthday parties and to introduce them to the place through a visit and a creative workshop.
