SILLANS-LA-CASCADE - La Cascade

Une cascade où les eaux de la Bresque grossies par celles de la source du château de Bresc et du vallon de l'Oure se précipitent dans un petit lac tourbillonnant d'une hauteur de 42 m de haut.

From the car park, follow the signs for "belvédère par le village" (viewpoint via the village). Cross the D22 via the pedestrian crossing and the paved path. Continue straight ahead through the olive grove below the village.
1 - At the end of the olive grove, go up the stairs on the left. Cross the D560 at the pedestrian crossing and take the "Montée du Château" (Castle Ascent) towards the Town Hall. Turn right in front of the war memorial, cross the orchard square, and go back down the short street. Continue along Rue des Safraniers (Saffron Street) and follow the signs for "La Cascade Belvédère" (The Belvedere Waterfall). At the end of the street, go down the stairs and cross the bridge over the Bresque River, keeping well to the left. Then take the pedestrian crossing on the right and continue straight ahead, passing to the right of the school. Follow the paved path until you reach the entrance to the path that leads to the waterfall on the right.
2 - Continue along the path between the rocks for 200 m, then take the path to the right. Descend via several sets of steps and walk through the undergrowth to the Cascade viewpoint, then return by the same route.
