Wine cooperative cellar

Cooperative winery dating from 1921 with a semi-circular vat system, of rational design, almost unique among the cooperatives of the Var.

A wine cellar built in 1921, consisting of a primitive central concrete building with a main facade beneath a gable wall, covered by a long, sloping roof of flat tiles, flanked on either side by two lateral wings with flat roofs. The facade is painted beige with a burgundy-colored base and woodwork. Metal frame. Corners of the walls are decorated with quoins, and the roof is supported by brackets.
On the ground floor of the main building, offices are located to the right, and the vat room occupies the remaining space, behind a reception and sales area forming a projecting section. This area is covered by a roof terrace with a wrought-iron balcony accessible from the upper floor. Two semicircles of stacked vats are arranged around a central access area, surrounded by a circular corridor. Around this corridor are arranged other vats in four semicircles, stacked one on top of the other. This rationally designed vat system is virtually unique among the cooperatives of the Var region.
