Esparron-de-Pallières

Perché sur la pente, ce village pittoresque offre une vue incomparable jusqu'aux contreforts des Alpes. Le château domine les maisons en pierre et les ruelles qui ont conservé tout leur caractère. Hérité du seigneur d'antan, on y célèbre la fauconnerie.

Dominated by the imposing mass of its castle, the small village of Esparron is nestled on the slope. Designated a "Village of Character", it has preserved its ancient topography intact and its alleyways are several centuries old.

Esparron is still marked by Charles d'Arcussia, its lord in the 17th century, author of a world-renowned treatise on falconry. The falconry festival, featuring demonstrations of falconry, is still celebrated there today.
