Geological Museum of Collobrières
About
Located in the heart of the village of Collobrières, the museum invites you to discover an exceptional collection: more than 550 minerals, more than 50 rock fragments, nearly 60 ores and 150 fossils, mainly from the Var region.
A true journey through the geology, mineralogy, paleontology and mining history of the Maures region.
Entry is free, with the option of a self-guided or guided tour.
The Collobrières museum is managed by the AMGM (Association of Mineralogy and Geology of the Maures), in partnership with the Town Hall. The association brings together specialists who oversee the different sections of the museum.
