A family who dreamed of bringing the castle back to life, like a sleeping beauty, succeeded in making it a unique place of living and conviviality, celebrating the art of living around the worlds of wine, art, and gastronomy.
The boutique hotel's 25 elegantly decorated and stylishly designed rooms and suites are spread throughout the château's various buildings, creating a village-like atmosphere. They invite you to relax and savor the art of living. The renovated Orangerie and Chapel lounges, numerous terraces, listed French gardens, and a heated outdoor pool (open during the warmer months) offer a magical setting for romantic getaways or family vacations.
The three restaurants and their dedicated teams take up the challenge every day of dazzling your eyes and taste buds through contemporary cuisine, inspired by faraway travels and the scents, colors and flavors of Provence, in rhythm with the seasons.
At the restaurant table, in the cellar and its shop, the wines of Château de la Gaude can also be discovered through an oenological journey that takes you behind the scenes and reveals the secrets of production from vine to bottle.
Spanning 25 hectares of the property, the vineyard, classified as AOP "coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence", is cultivated organically to respect nature and preserve the quality of a confidential, concentrated and fruity production.
The elegant and stylish cellar is a showcase for bottles and works of art. In addition to the estate's wines, you can find a selection of the 20,000 wines carefully preserved in the main cellar, which the wine merchants will be delighted to present to you.
Because wine is an art, a collection of tools designed to amplify the pleasures of tasting and sharing it is on display.
Like a hilltop village, the estate offers a trendy version of Provence.
