Malherbe Castle

About

For four generations, the Ferrari family has cultivated in this unique place a timeless art of living and a philosophy aimed at enhancing the production of the estate.

The Estate:

In Bormes-les-Mimosas, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, the Château Malherbe winery stretches across a unique and preserved 25-hectare terroir. Here, on the land of the former farm of Fort de Brégançon, the Ferrari family has cultivated vines for four generations, producing exceptional wines in all three colors using organic farming methods. We are now embracing biodynamic practices with a single goal: to highlight the distinctive character of our terroir and to elevate our Malherbe and Pointe du Diable cuvées.

The wines:
- The Malherbe wines come from the terroir of the same name, clinging to the foothills of Cap Bénat on a brown clay-schist soil. These wines are full-bodied and complex, perfect for gastronomic enjoyment, reflecting special moments and pleasure.
The Pointe du Diable wines come from the terroir of the same name, located on the seafront, on sandy soil scattered with quartz fragments, which produces wines with varying degrees of iodine character and a beautiful balance between fruit and acidity. They are the expression of light and exceptionally fresh wines.
