Château Paquette

About

Château Paquette, formerly Domaine de Curebéasse, remains a family business that Jérôme, the 3rd generation of Paquette, has decided to convert to organic.

Trained as an oenologist, he works as a consultant for numerous winemakers in Provence and beyond. But his passion remains the land where he grew up, and to which he lovingly invests all his experience every day. Investments in modern equipment continue, while maintaining the spirit of authentic production, with meticulous care for the terroir, the vineyard, and the wines.
""Thanks to our commitment and respect for our land, we have obtained organic certification for our vines. The 2014 vintage bears the "Organic Wine" designation. Our wines have become one of the jewels of the Côtes de Provence Fréjus appellation, cited as an example by numerous critics, from Robert Parker to Jacques Dupont.".

WINES
* Cuvée Angélico Rosé - Côtes de Provence Fréjus
Pale, brilliant, salmon-pink in color, with an intense and complex nose of pear, lychee, and citrus, underpinned by spicy notes of cinnamon and cloves, while remaining very floral. The whole is punctuated by mineral notes that maintain the aromatic freshness. The palate is complex, with a finesse and roundness that are incredibly appealing, finishing with a touch of toast, very long and fresh. Cellaring potential: 2 to 3 years

* Roches Noires Rouge - Côtes de Provence Fréjus
""A vanilla and smoky nose complemented by notes of blackberry and raspberry. A powerful red with silky tannins that reveals aromas of garrigue, rockrose and pine sap. The finish opens with roasted notes typical of the volcanic soil of the Fréjus terroir. Cellaring potential: 10 to 15 years.".

* Cuvée Forum Julii Blanc
""Dry, supple, and delicate, with aromas of exotic fruits. Spicy and minty, with balsamic notes, tender and persistent on the palate. Well-balanced." A well-balanced wine for aging: 1 to 2 years for its freshness. 10 years or more for the development of spices and candied fruit.
