About
Château Pigoudet is located in the commune of Rians, in the far northeast of the Coteaux d'Aix en Provence appellation, at an altitude of 400m. The Pigoudet estate was the summer residence of the Archbishop of Aix.
The total area of Château Pigoudet is 110 hectares, including 40 hectares of vineyards. The clay-limestone soils are planted with grape varieties exclusively intended for the AOC designation. For rosé and red wines, this includes Grenache, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah. For white wine, it includes Sauvignon Blanc, Grenache Blanc, and Rolle.
