Château Saint Julien d'Aille

Château Saint Julien d'Aille owes its name to Saint Julien, a Roman centurion martyred in the year 304 AD, and to the Aille, a small river tributary of the Argens which runs alongside the estate.

The estate has an area of 80 hectares of vineyards; the richness and originality of its vineyard stem from the delicate balance between olive trees, garrigue and forest in which they blend harmoniously, and the judicious choice of noble Provençal grape varieties: Cinsault, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah for the reds and rosés, and Rolle, Sémillon, Viognier and Sauvignon for the whites.
