About
Vines have been cultivated here for over 2,000 years. To the east of the vineyard, archaeologists unearthed a Roman wine estate dating back to the 1st century BC. It was in the late 1960s that Vignelaure took on its current appearance.
Created in 1960 by Georges Brunet (owner of Château La Lagune), Château Vignelaure is characterized by the production of long-aging red wines, blends of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, fruity rosés and fresh and aromatic whites.
Located between 350 and 480m altitude at the foot of the Sainte-Victoire mountain northeast of Aix en Provence, the property covers 280 hectares including 55 hectares of planted vines and benefits from a particular microclimate.
Our specific features:
