About
Located in the heart of Provence, Domaine Bargemone benefits from a protected environment. The organic vineyard covers 68 hectares in the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence appellation. The team, led by Pierre Einaudi, eagerly awaits your visit.
Bargemone and Saint-Cannat have intertwined histories. Located at the edge of the village, the Templar Commandery of Bargemone traces its roots back to the 13th century. In more recent history, it was thanks to Mr. Rozan that Bargemone became a wine estate. The former mayor of the village harvested his first grapes in 1974, and since then, the story has continued to unfold.
In 2019, André Einaudi took over the estate with the desire to instill an ambition of modernity worthy of the prestige of Bargemone.
The new winery was inaugurated with the 2022 harvest.
A new tasting room, welcoming the public, will open in May 2023. It will be a vibrant space where we can welcome you, introduce you to our wines and new vintages, and tell you who we are. We strive to become better!
Interpreting and bringing to life what nature gives us—that is Bargemone's mission. The wines have been certified organic for several years. This year, the estate also received HVE 3 (High Environmental Value) certification, a label that recognizes, among other things, the biodiversity of the site.
Because good wine begins in the vineyard, we find the richness of a respected ecosystem in the plots. Living soils to reflect the terroir we inherit.
Bargemone cultivates the vines with the necessary respect and humility. The team working in the vineyard is made up of passionate individuals, who ensure the health of the estate's various grape varieties every day.
Pierre Einaudi, artisan winemaker and son of André, leads his team to help you discover our wines in a warm and welcoming environment.
The tastings are free, and so are the smiles of Bargemone!
