Founded in 1900, the estate became the property of Magali and Bertrand Letartre in 1998. Boasting 47 hectares of vineyards, tradition, innovation, and hygiene are the estate's guiding principles. The main grape varieties cultivated are Grenache, Cinsault, and Mourvèdre.
Located in the heart of the Saint-Tropez peninsula, straddling the towns of Gassin and Ramatuelle, the estate covers 230 hectares, including 47 hectares of vineyards cultivated according to traditional methods. Part of the land work is carried out with the help of horses.
The La Rouillère estate has an ultra-modern 1,700 m² cellar with 54 stainless steel tanks which contribute to demanding winemaking, thanks in particular to maintaining the grapes at low temperatures after harvest and until storage.
Oriented mainly (to the tune of 80 %) towards the production of rosés, the Domaine de la Rouillère now gives two cuvées: Grande Réserve, available in all three colours, with refreshing and aromatic wines, and the refined Premium rosé cuvée.
Labels: Label Vignobles et Découvertes, Agriculture biologique (AB), En cours de conversion biologique, Certification HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale).
