Domaine des Béates

A pioneer of organic farming in the region since the 1980s, the estate has been owned by the Terrat family since 1996 with a real ambition to produce exceptional wines while respecting life and the environment.

Old vines, low yields, traditional winemaking and long aging were the key to successfully capturing all the concentration and complexity that this terroir could offer.
The vines, planted between 250 and 350m altitude on predominantly limestone soils, allow us to obtain white wines of great minerality, fruity rosés and powerful reds with great aging potential.

To contextualize our approach:
• 30 ha of vines in 15 plots in the heart of a 60 ha forest.
• 26 grape varieties to preserve richness and balance.
• Over 1,200 trees recently planted (40 species) to support biodiversity.

This dynamic forges honest and precise wines, deeply rooted in their terroir.
