About
Entre tradition et renouveau, au cœur des Alpilles, se situe Le Domaine du Grand Fontanille un lieu secret niché dans la forêt.
A setting that extends over 60 hectares, including 4.5 hectares of vineyard, a bastide dating from the 17th century with a majestic double staircase, French-style gardens and fountains.
In an enchanting setting, the wine cellar and the sumptuous 17th-century country house invite you to discover the place, its history and its wines…
Nicolas Jourdan, the estate's new manager, is brimming with ideas and new projects to develop and revitalize Grand Fontanille, while remaining true to the traditions and values of the place. A native of Arles, Nicolas comes from a family of winemakers. Trained in Burgundy and at Domaine Hauvette, he is now the estate's new winemaker and oenologist. A fresh perspective to perpetuate the culture of the vine and craft wines with a strong identity.
At the estate, soil work is still done on horseback and the vines have been cultivated using organic farming methods since the beginning.
The estate team will be delighted to let you taste the wines and discover these places steeped in history!
