About
The 59-hectare estate, with its predominantly AOC Côteaux d'Aix vineyards, has been producing certified organic wine, olive and almond harvests since 2011.
Domaine La Cadenière, located in Lançon-de-Provence, is a family-run vineyard that has been managed for three generations. The story begins in the 1950s, with harvests still done by hand and transported by cart pulled by the mule Coco. In 1973, the family produced its first wine, marking the beginning of a true passion passed down from generation to generation, from Léonie and Louis to their grandchildren.
Today, the estate is run by brothers Vincent, Pierre and Gabriel Tobias, accompanied by their sister Sylvie, on a 52-hectare property of vines mainly in AOC Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence, all cultivated in organic farming.
Officially committed to organic farming since 2008 (certification obtained in 2011), the Tobias family implements cultivation techniques that strengthen soil life, vine resistance, and wine quality. Natural cover cropping in winter, tilling the soil without chemicals, and promoting biodiversity are integral to their approach.
Today the estate offers red, rosé and white wines as well as a small production of sweet wine, respecting their terroir and a family philosophy deeply rooted in time.
