High in the Provençal hinterland, below the small village of Correns, lies Domaine Saint Andrieu. In 2003, this majestic landscape, in a nature preserved from all urbanization and completely untouched, captivated Jean-Paul and Nancy Bignon, also owners of Château Talbot, a Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Julien in the Médoc.
Upon acquiring this exceptional property, they embarked on an ambitious program of renovation and restructuring to restore it to its former glory with full respect for nature.
Besides the beauty and purity of the site, the estate has assets conducive to the cultivation of vines: it has many springs including the eponymous one of Saint Andrieu and rises to 380 meters in altitude which gives it a more continental microclimate.
Over 26 hectares are dedicated to vineyards. The wines produced benefit from two appellations contrôlées, Côtes de Provence and Coteaux Varois en Provence, thus offering a full range in all three colors. The estate also produces AOC Provence olive oil.
Respect for nature and the land symbolizes the philosophy of Domaine Saint Andrieu. We practice viticulture that protects the terroir and promotes the optimal expression of our vines and olive trees. Since June 2017, we have been certified HVE (High Environmental Value), a certification recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture for the environmental performance of winegrowers.
HVE is based on performance indicators relating to biodiversity, plant protection strategy, and fertilization and irrigation management. This certification supports our philosophy of respecting the land and ecosystems.
