Domaine de la Navicelle, located near the Mediterranean in Provence, benefits from a unique terroir with red clay soils and the influence of sea breezes, imparting a characteristic salinity to the wines. The estate distinguishes itself through its eco-responsible approach, with natural grass cover, pastoralism, and hand-harvesting. In the cellar, the diversity of materials and plot-by-plot selection guarantee authentic wines. This strong commitment is also reflected in the expertise gained in the vineyard and the cellar, with particular attention to soil preservation and the use of biodynamic preparations (horn manure, silica). Hand-harvesting ensures meticulous harvesting in each plot. Since 1992, the estate has been revitalized through the modernization of the vineyards and infrastructure, which has led to improvements in the quality of the wines. Under the direction of Romain Magnanou, a passionate winemaker who has worked in prestigious estates in Bordeaux and Provence, the estate team has committed itself to an organic and biodynamic approach to cultivation, with a deep respect for the terroir.
Different grape varieties are used: Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Tibouren and Cinsault for the reds and rosés, Rolle, Clairette and Muscat for the whites.
To make the most of this exceptional terroir, we work in accordance with organic farming practices and have respected the principles of biodynamics for many years.
