The Winegrowers of Baou

If you are in Provence, make a stop in Pourcieux, you will discover a small village at the foot of the Monts Auréliens, where vines have been cultivated with passion for centuries.

Established in 1912, the Vignerons du Baou winery will welcome you with great pleasure. You will taste a wide range of red and white wines, and especially our specialty, fine rosé wines.

Country wines from the Var, AOP Côtes de Provence and since 2004, our new appellation: "Côtes de Provence Sainte-Victoire", the jewel of our production, will be available to you.

Baou or bau comes from the Provençal baus pronounced "baou" with the stress on the "a", meaning steepness, cliff or rocky escarpment.

The cellar covers an area of 380 hectares and we have 29 members.
We are part of the Provence wine route.
