King René's Vineyard

In the heart of Provence, the Vignoble du Roy René has been perpetuating a beautiful story of passion and terroir for over a century.

Founded in 1922 by Jules Reynaud, then mayor of Lambesc, the cellar pays homage to the famous King René, Duke of Anjou and Count of Provence, nicknamed the "Winegrower King", who marked the history of the town during his visit in 1453.

Today, the vineyards extend over more than 900 hectares around Lambesc, Saint-Cannat and Rognes, benefiting from an exceptional environment between the Côtes and Trévaresse mountain ranges. This Provençal climate, with little exposure to rain and frost, combined with clay-limestone and sandy soils, allows for the production of high-quality grapes.

This natural richness promotes a beautiful diversity of grape varieties: grenache noir, syrah, cinsault, cabernet-sauvignon, merlot, vermentino, sauvignon or even grenache blanc, which give rise to expressive and authentic wines, typical of Provence.
