Nature in celebration

A day in nature, to be experienced with the family at the Espace Naturel Sensible de la Brûlade in La Londe les Maures.

On Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., the Sensitive Natural Area of La Brûlade will vibrate to the rhythm of Nature en Fête, a friendly and family day on the theme of Water.
More than 100 partners come together to offer activities, workshops, shows and discoveries for young and old, in a joyful atmosphere.

Highlights of the day included:

The Little Farm and its animals, discovering goat milking, butter making workshop, salad planting, educational games, old trades, donkey and pony rides...

Continuous free shows:
• 10am: Balance bike race for children up to 5 years old (meet at 9:45am in front of the PEEP stand)
• 10:45 am and 4:30 pm: Horse show "A water nymph on horseback discovering Provence""
• 11:15 a.m., 3:30 p.m., 2 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.: Marcel Pagnol Theatre. Various scenes from Jean de Florette performed by the company "Dans la Cour des Grands""
• 12pm: Inauguration with complimentary aperitif
• 1:15 pm: Performance with the Londaise Rhythmic Gymnastics group "Voyage au fil de l'eau""

Nature en Fête also offers a myriad of free, immersive workshops for learning while having fun!
• Awakening and discovery: understanding and experiments on water and its cycle, discovery of seabirds and invasive species, exhibition on boat building, discovery of floral waters, introduction to first aid...
• Fun activities: small boat races, duck fishing, bike circuit, quizzes, board games...
• Creative activities: drawing, coloring, making ropes and wicker fish traps...
• Awareness-raising: water resource conservation, understanding the impact of climate change on water-related risks, recycling guidelines, quizzes on energy-efficient renovations, games on the preservation of endangered species…

Free hikes:
Two guided hikes are offered departing from La Brûlade, suitable for ages 8 and up. Registration on site 30 minutes before departure; group limited to 40-45 people. No pets allowed.
• 8:30 am - "Tour de La Londe" 8.5 km and 20 m of elevation gain
• 9:15 am - "Between Land and Sea" 5 km and 10 m of elevation gain

Large Organic & Natural Market:
Stalls selling local produce, short supply chains or organic products, artisanal products: fruits, vegetables, cheeses, oils, biscuits, honey, beers, cosmetics, cleaning products, clothing, bags, jewelry, flowers...
