Vasarely Workshops - Street art
About
Throughout the year, the Vasarely Foundation offers workshops designed to awaken children's curiosity and imagination, introducing them to art through the world of Victor Vasarely, as well as the works of Claire Vasarely and Paul Cezanne.
What was Vasarely's vision of art in the city? This art should not remain confined to museums but should live in the heart of cities, on walls, squares, and buildings. Through geometric shapes and optical effects, he wanted to combat the drabness of cities and make them more beautiful, more vibrant, and more colorful!
Urban art transforms walls into spaces for creation, freedom, and expression. Whether colorful, funny, or carrying a message, it invites us to see the city differently.
With self-adhesive sheets in the shape of diamonds or hexagons and magic sheets, with templates to trace geometric shapes, children leave with an ephemeral work to display on the surface of their choice in town or at home.
