Water walk in the Calanque of Port d'Alon

The activity includes a time for explanations about the environment, the species and the challenges of preservation, then a phase of equipping, the session in the water and finally a time for de-equipment and debriefing for a total duration of about 2h30.
A snorkeling excursion to discover the shallow waters of the Mediterranean. Participants explore in groups of eight, accompanied by a state-certified instructor with specialized training. With a marine eco-guide, they learn (if needed) how to use the equipment (fins, mask, snorkel, and wetsuit) and then embark on a sensory exploration (visual, tactile, etc.) of the species and habitats of the Calanque de Port d'Alon. Beyond learning about biodiversity, this activity also teaches respect for nature and the importance of responsible behavior.
To allow for a better understanding of the environment during the aquatic walk, a time for discussion and presentation on the environments encountered and their fragility is offered before equipment fitting and entering the water.
Upon exiting the water and removing equipment, a briefing is offered, allowing participants to share their experiences and expand their knowledge of the marine and coastal environment (documentation is provided). The activity lasts approximately 2.5 hours; the time spent in the water depends on the group and weather conditions (45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes).

Open to everyone aged 6 and over. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Equipment is provided (please bring a swimsuit and a towel).
