Bonisson Art Center - Shapes & Colors

The Bonisson Art Center presents a group exhibition dedicated to artists who, each through an economy of gestures and forms, renew our relationship to space, forms and light.

The artists in this exhibition share a common desire: to reduce form in order to better convey what is happening between the works – invisible tensions, physical forces, light, perception.
The minimalist geometric forms thus create a rich dialogue: the floor installations respond to the stretched surfaces; the reflective spheres meet the abstract photographs; the colored fabrics respond to the lines of the paintings.
The works thus create a journey made up of pauses, breaths, and silent confrontations.
The exhibition blends paintings, installations, photographs, and sculptures, featuring both renowned and lesser-known artists.
