Monuments to the memory of the French and Americans

On August 16, 2018, a new stele was inaugurated in memory of three American pilots who fell during an aerial battle on January 27, 1944, on the heights of Pierrefeu-du-Var, and whose remains were discovered by a resident of Pierrefeu.
After a long and arduous search, the families of the three pilots have been found.
