Open Air: Sound Solstice

The programming for this Solstice Sonore will bring together DJs and live machines around a sunny, melodic and danceable electronic music.

Le vendredi 12 juin 2026, à l’occasion de la Biennale d’Aix, du 50ᵉ anniversaire de la Fondation Vasarely et des 120 ans de Victor Vasarely, PAREA vous invite à SOLSTICE SONORE : un open-air exceptionnel dans les jardins de la Fondation, avec une scène flottante installée sur le bassin.
Une soirée gratuite à la croisée du patrimoine, des musiques électroniques, des performances visuelles et circassiennes, pensée comme un mini festival foisonnant de propositions artistiques le temps d’une nuit.

Au programme : DJs sets et lives machines entre house, deep techno, textures trancy et grooves hypnotiques, portés par des artistes locaux et hongrois. Ensemble, ils dessineront une traversée sonore festive et lumineuse, entre rythmes rebondissants et paysages mélodiques, dans un dialogue immersif avec l’univers géométrique et vibrant de la Fondation.
Tout au long de la soirée, la façade du bâtiment s’animera à travers un mapping immersif imaginé par Hexalab, accompagné de performances VJing signées Rodrigue Costello.
Foodtrucks et bar sur place pour prolonger l’expérience.

A PAREA program

PAREA is an association working to make electronic music and contemporary art forms more accessible by organizing inclusive events in the South of France, in close collaboration with the City of Aix-en-Provence. The association has notably coordinated several editions of the electronic music stage at the Fête de la Musique (Music Festival) in Place des Prêcheurs, evenings at the Pavillon Vendôme as part of the 2024 Biennale (bringing together over 1,000 people), open-air events in Aix-La Duranne, the Nuit des Étudiants (Student Night) at the Musée Granet, as well as workshops for young audiences and DJing workshops in partnership with community centers and youth centers. PAREA also initiated the first edition of the Basses Fréquences festival, held in several iconic locations in Aix-en-Provence. Its projects celebrate local heritage and local artists through primarily electronic, multidisciplinary programming committed to an artistic and responsible approach.
