Terre Rousse Park

The Terre Rousse park is located above the car park of the same name.

This 1.5 ha terraced park hosts the major festive events of Collobrières: Trail des Maures, Course de la Châtaigne, summer events.

It is planted with monumental cedars (Cedrus), century-old plane trees (Platanus occidentalis), cypresses (Cupressus sempervirens), lime trees (Tilia cordata), horse chestnut trees (Aesculus hippocastanum) and a remarkable magnolia (Magnolia grandiflora) of more than 80 years overlooking an orchard of fruit trees, created and maintained by children as part of extracurricular workshops.

The spring that emerges there feeds the fountain at the Old Bridge.
An old waterwheel, a basin and a well bear witness to the market gardening past of this wooded area in the heart of the village.
