Adrien Beaumont Promenade

About

The Adrien Beaumont promenade, which runs along San Peïre beach in Les Issambres, pays tribute to the man who contributed significantly to the development of the seaside resort. Starting in 1949, Adrien Beaumont envisioned a true Provençal village by the sea, named Les Calanques des Issambres. Thanks to extensive promotional campaigns, the first housing developments appeared in the 1950s.

His vision was based on urban planning that respected the landscape, summarized by his famous motto: "a house in a garden, a garden in a park." Today, the promenade is a popular spot for walkers. It also hosts the Monday morning market and night markets in the summer, contributing to the lively atmosphere of the seafront.
