Canoe trip on the Argens river

About

  • Pets allowed

Life jacket on, paddle in hand, the canoeing adventure begins!

A 3 km walk leads to the small Lac Noirel, an intimate lake accessible only via the Argens River. Along the way, European pond turtles bask in the sun on a tree trunk. Kingfishers watch from the trees for fish rising to the surface. European bee-eaters, depending on the season, can be found in the treetops, hunting for insects. The Argens River meanders through this verdant setting, with the Roquebrune rock as a backdrop.

At the small lake of Noirel, nestled at the foot of the Rocher de Roquebrune sur Argens, a swim is refreshing. Enjoy a snack or a picnic, and your batteries will be recharged.

For the more athletic, you can have fun going a little further up the river beyond Lake Noirel; here you will find very pleasant pebble beaches with some very nice little swimming spots.

The highlights of the walk:
> Discover a preserved natural site, in a Natura 2000 area at the foot of the Roquebrune-sur-Argens Rock
> Canoe route ideal for families (from 4 years old, must know how to swim)
> Completely independently (without a guide or shuttle)

3 types of packages:
> Quick (2 hours): short break at the lake, approximately 5 to 10 minutes
Medium (2h30): a little more time for swimming, a quick picnic, or for beginners who still want to discover Lake Noirel
Relax (4 hours): ideal for a nice picnic, good breaks, swimming, and explorations after Lake Noirel
