Saint Christine Chapel

About

Edifiée vers le milieu du XVI° siècle au sommet d'une colline qui domine les villages de Cuers et de Solliès-Pont.

It features a remarkable entrance portal made of finely crafted blond stone and adorned with molded stucco seashells. It is separated by a narrow strip of land (approximately 60 to 80 cm) from another chapel, also dedicated to Saint Christine, but located in the neighboring town of Solliès-Pont! The paved path leading to these two chapels is lined with oratories. The main altar is dated 1817 (at the base of the tomb); it has been restored by the association "Les Amis de Ste Christine" (Friends of Saint Christine).
